Sweaty day...

Finally we've reached Surin, A pretty remoted village, we head straight to the temple where the Luong Por (Head Monk) Luong Pu Kee stayed, he was so happy when he saw us... I likes him, he has a very fatherly looked, toothless, reminds me of my dad.. very nice and warm head monk who can wake up middle of the night to make us coffee and serve us! his elder disciple was busy running around boiling water to make coffee for all of us, when we reach the temple, they really make us feel at home. The new temple to be build was located next to the existing temple.. why are we building one, it's because the old temple is sinking! really sinking soon... so it's not safe for the monks there. In fact there is a new temple which was built halfway, next to ours.. it belong to the fellow monk, who was one of the top monk in Thailand.. the project has to call off becos of those unscrupulous contractor, cheated all the 4million baht.. so sad rite, it takes the monk years to get the donation... how can they do such things to the monk, i believe in retributions, they will not gain from these. Imagine, how sad the monk will be. But no worries, the $$ for our temple is well taken care of, we don't give lump sum to them, once the completion of some parts, then we give money for the next.
