Birthday Party for kid~~ Time to Make Money

This is so familiar! First we can make money when we throw a big banquet on our wedding day~~ Provided people around us are not scrooge and of course we got to make known to them ( giving hints eg.. cost of per table) and make sure we don't give out invitation card if we know that bugger won't be coming ( in case, no show no ang pow=lugi lah). last but not least, NEVER invite people who is poorer than us! hahahaha... That won't be me cos people around me are all richer than me!

Then when we start to have our first baby, hahaha.. after so much of tonic and check up to make sure we have a healthy baby and also to make up for the money spent, Throw a BIG banquet for baby shower too.. of course, make sure those people give ang pow, if suay suay got presents~~~ Arrg.. sucks! And once is not enough, we will celebrate the baby's first birthday too ( depending on the ang pow lah, if most people give presents.. too bad, no celebration!)

BLOODY hell~~ for people i've mention as above! What the hell! If you can't afford, don't do it. Aren't you ashamed? I doubt so since you are openly telling people that you are throwing a party for your girl, and the balloon cost you 36 bucks, the 1kg cake cost 100bucks, the buffet cost $20 per head and the booking of a club house at a relative condo cost you $60 etc.. and if you don't receive ang pow, you will lost money, but then based on past experience, MOST of your relatives and friends ( don't you dare invite me) give ang pow ranging from $50-$200 so you can forseen you will MAKE MONEY out of this party! KNS... not sincere at all, why men have these mentality? Why can't they just celebrate for the sake of celebrating and not thinking of making money! Walau, then better keep the money in the bank, why take the risk? sigh.... To him, it's nothing, but for people like me who is listening to him, i wanna puke.. i feel so sad for the baby, and for all we know, the baby don't even know what the hell are all those aunties and uncles doing, and try asking her when she is older, she will have zero memories of that party at all. It's just simply a day for parent to show off that they can afford. She is only one, she don't need all these, all she needs is the love and cares of the parents!
